Untitled Illustration, watercolor on board, circa 1982, approx. 6" X 6" StoryI had an assignment from CMF&Z, a large Young & Rubicam agricultural ad agency, to do a series of 20 or 30 illustrations of bugs and diseases that affected various crops. For reference, I was given photos or actual pieces of plant or bugs in jars. It was a fun assignment, and as this example illustrates, resulted in some interesting art -- as long as you weren't a farmer affected by the problems. |
